Robbie to appear at the Echo Awards?
The German radio station, "Radio Köln" reports Robbie Williams will be spending the weekend in Berlin. So we can hope to see him at the Echo Music Awards (the German equivalent of the Grammies or Brits) on Sunday?
A spokeswoman for the organisers dismissed this, saying: "that with Robbie Williams must be a hoax. The radio station meant it as a joke. Up till now the organisers have had no notice that he will be attending the Echo Award Ceremony."
Personally I don't believe it either, as at present he's too busy getting his name known in the US. All the important gossip blogs have recently run articles on him and the American newspapers are gradually starting to take an interest. And a weekend away from his new found friends the US paparazzi, now that would be unthinkable! Or what do you think?

Robbie loves the US, but...

Robbie Williams certainly knows how to play with the paparazzi, as TMZ reports in I Love a Rack More Than USA.
As he left the 2B Free Fall 2007 Collection after show party at Boulevard3, he was spotted kissing an unknown brunette (see photo above), actually looks a lot more than it actually was.

"... not as much as I like your breasts
though."
He then jokes "I'm almost off all drugs," before setting eyes on the blond left. He then tells her "I like this country ... not as much as I like your breasts though."
As smooth as Robbie was, he still opted to go home alone.

Paris Hilton & Robbie Williams Duet?
If we're to believe the Daily Star Robbie has a new buddy. None less than the gossip column filling Paris Hilton. Seemingly as the Star writes in Paris Woos Robbie, she sent him a solid gold fountain pen, worth £2,500, with a note asking him to write her a song.
“I know you like Angels and if you want one to come into your life just write me into it with a song, a beautiful shining song.”
Robbie wasn't interested at first, but apparently after being introduced, he changed his mind as the Star's source says:

“Rob found Paris to be witty, self-deprecating and very pretty in the flesh. They chatted about life in the public eye and Paris told Robbie some brilliant Hollywood stories. He felt a weight lifting when she was with him.”
Need proof? Take a look at the photo left. It shows Robbie and Paris together at the 2B Free Fall 2007 Collection Debut at Boulevard3 during Los Angeles 2007 Fashion Week. But no romance just yet says the Star.
More pics of Robbie from the 2B Free Fall 2007 Collection Debut at Boulevard3 can be found at the following sites:

Clinic to sue Robbie?
According to entertainmentwise, the Cottonwood de Tucson clinic is considering suing Robbie Williams, as he reportedly likened it to a "concentration camp".
A source at the clinic reportedly told the Daily Star:
"We're one of the most respected rehabs in the world and what this man has said is outrageous. Board members have taken legal advice and have been told they have a defamation case against him. Everyone on staff is backing their action 100-per-cent."
The problem here would seem that no one actually heard Robbie utter these words, they only appeared in the newspaper, as is underlined by the comments to this story, because once again an unnamed source supposedly heard him use them!?! Actually Robbie's remained remarkably quiet on the subject.

Robbie's Dad says his Humour is back
The father of singer Robbie Williams insists his son "is done with rehab".
Conway says, "I always know how Robbie is by his humour, and it's back. He was making jokes down the phone to me yesterday, they are not quotable, very private and a bit rude.
"So I would say he is on the mend. He's not going back to rehab - he's done, he's finished."
Conway will travel to L.A. this week to visit his son. He adds, "I am looking forward to seeing him more than you could know. I always have faith in him, he's a good lad and I love him."

Take That disagree on reunion with Robbie
Take That fans will need a lot of patience if they want to see the band perform with Robbie Williams. The members of the reunited band, speaking in the Australian newspaper "The Sunday Mail", say that they don't see eye to eye on the possible return of Robbie.
50 Cent and Robbie Williams
No they're not feuding or even having a mild spat. According to various news sites Robbie Williams may be teaming up with hip-hop superstar 50 Cent in a future collaboration. Robbie is reported as saying; "I think me and 50 Cent might do something".
Sounds interesting, if a little far fetched.
Robbie's keeping busy
Robbie Williams is certainly making up for lost time, if we're to believe tabloids. Not only has been out clubbing every night since he's left Rehab, during the day he seems to keeping himself busy as well. He's even had time to chat up a Swedish Beauty according to the "Sun".
Robbie's Back
Robbie Williams is out of rehab and has returned home to Los Angeles, where he wasted no time in getting out to do some shopping and clubbing. His spokeswoman, Bryony Watts, says: "He has completed his stay in Arizona and continues with an after-care program in Los Angeles", but his sister says this is not the case.
Robbie Williams' other single release
While we've been patiently waiting for the release of She's Madonna, and reports of Robbie's Rehab. A single was quietly released at the end of January first as a purely digital download in Mexico and then as a CD in Switzerland.
Robbie feeling "positive"
According to the Sentinel (the local paper for Stoke-on-Trent), the family from Robbie Williams say he is on the road to recovery. Robbie, who is reportedly staying in the Meadows treatment centre in Arizona, is said to be feeling "positive", as he reaches the half-way stage of his programme of treatment.
The Get Well Robbie Circus
The "Sun" has decided if you're going to send Robbie messages of support then you'll need to send them via the "Sun". Robbie's mum, Jan says she'll be taking them along to show him when he gets out of the clinic.
Take That want Robbie on Tour
Once more the rumours start that Take That could be performing this year complete with Robbie Williams. This sounds a bit like old news, as last year the rumours were rife that Robbie was going to perform with Take That, only to appear as a hologram. Then there was the story of Take That joining Robbie at Milton Keynes, well what ever came of that?
Robbie laughs his way to recovery
According to the Daily Star Robbie Williams is amazing staff, at the exclusive Meadows rehab clinic in Arizona, by laughing his way to recovery.
And if their "family source" is to be believed he could be out of the clinic before the end of the 30 day course - maybe even this week!
Robbie: Dream Man Number 1
According to the largest survey ever into British sexual fantasies, in which over 19,000 adults responded over a period of five years,
Becks - Exercise to beat Depression
David Beckham has advised Robbie Williams to exercise to beat his depression.
The concerned soccer star has encouraged Robbie, who recently checked into rehab, to use sport as a means to overcome his woes.
A source told Britain's Closer magazine, "David's been in touch with Robbie over the last few weeks. He was aware of how bad he's been feeling."
"He's told Robbie that exercise would cure him of his addictions and his depression."
"David has repeatedly suggested Robbie get into the habit of exhausting daily workouts."

Robbie is a Victim of Fame
Badly Drawn Boy star Damon Gough has spoken out in support of Robbie Williams, blaming fame for the pop singer's current stay in rehab.
He says, "I empathise with what Robbie is going through. I've met him a few times and he seemed to be dealing with his level of fame. Everyone looks at someone like him and says, 'He's just a show-off and loves attention.'
"Talking about yourself incessantly in interviews, being onstage where you are the centre of attention, writing songs that are going to be scrutinised, being famous and being spotted in the street - it all makes you feel really strange.
"Fame - it's just a weird thing and it does psychologically affect you."

Robbie can count on Mark Owen
Take That's Mark Owen, speaking in Reveal Magazine, said some of the comments made about Robbie Williams at the Brit Awards were over the top. Especially those from controversial host Russell Brand, who although calling for every one to send their love and support to Robbie, went on to joke about his return to rehab and his reported daily intake of cigarettes, antidepressants etc.
Also coming in for criticism were the Gallagher brothers, who (as we reported) don't seem to miss a chance to mock Robbie.
Mark said: "I felt bad at the Brits because there were some jokes said about Robbie that made it look like he was being mocked."
He added: "When I heard about him checking into rehab I felt really sad - I just want him to get happy again. I'll do anything I can to help him. If he wants me to see him, I'll be straight on that plane."
Robbie was always Mark's mate in Take That and although after the band broke up there was a period of silence between the two, they got back on speaking terms, with Mark even making a guest appearance at Knebworth in 2003. Mark closed with how devastated he felt and said that Robbie "should come back to the UK."
Robbie gets no Sympathy from the Gallaghers
Various news agencies reported that, after winning the "has beens" Award at the Brits Liam decided to lay into Robbie Williams.
Speaking backstage after the Brit Awards, Liam Gallagher ranted: "What's his f***ing problem, man? We all know what it is ? he's a f***ing drama f***ing queen. If you've got a problem why do you want the whole world to know about it? He has to be on the front f***ing pages, doesn't he? Just sort your f***ing self out man.
"If you take drugs you end up in rehab unless you're like me."
Liam added: "You make a crap album and then you want everyone to feel f***ing sorry for you. F***ing t***er!"
And for once his brother Noel seems to be in agreement stating: "If you take drugs you end up in rehab unless you’re a f***ing rock like me and then you just give them up! We’ve all been there, but if you can’t stand the heat."
Well who's looking for publicity, seems the only thing the Gallagher brothers are capable of nowadays is to slag of everyone who appears in the news, just to see their name in print.
If for once they had just put their brain into gear before mouthing off they would just maybe realise that they were not only belittling Robbie, but millions of other sufferers of depression.
Bipolar disorder (formerly known as manic depression, involving rollercoaster mood swings) is a mental illness and for us that are not inflicted it is certainly impossible to even to try to grasp the sheer torture this can cause. Addiction to prescription drugs, which reportedly have prevented tens of thousands of deaths, is not uncommon, as better to take a couple of pills as suffer the mental anguish which can occur at anytime. And it takes immense courage to face up to the fact that one is addicted.
Irresponsible comments such as those above do nothing to help those also addicted to anti depressants and make it harder for them to seek help without the stigma of being just another junkie.
So come on Liam and Noel prove that you are as strong as you say and apologise, not for Robbie sake, but for the sake of all the ordinary men and women out there, who struggle from one day to the next in the knowledge that the next attack is just around the corner.
Rant over.
PS. The above is my personal view on the situation. As someone who doesn't suffer from depression, I hope those who do suffer will forgive me if I've gotten anything wrong and won't hesitate to correct me.
A Wave of Support for Robbie
Although failing to win a Brit for best live act (the award going to Muse), Robbie Williams got a "wave of love" from the stars at the Brit Awards. Russell Brand (the comedian and presenter of this years award show) told the audience "Let’s send actual love to Robbie. It’s for you Robbie. Get well England’s Rose."
And Gary Barlow from Take That admitted: "If it wasn’t for Robbie and his huge success, there wouldn’t have still been the interest there for us. So cheers Robbie. Thanks a lot."
On hearing that Robbie had been admitted to rehab, David Beckham's wife Victoria promptly sent him a letter with her support. Other stars offering their support included the ex-Spice Girls Emma Bunton und Geri Halliwell, as well as Kylie Minogue. His pals Jonathan Wilkes, Ant and Dec are of course backing him to the hilt.
Robbie's Mum; "Best Birthday Present"
Robbie Williams' mum says his decision to go into rehab is the best birthday present he could give himself.
On his 33rd birthday, the former Take That star checked himself into rehab in the US - believed to be the exclusive Meadows clinic in Arizona with its bootcamp-style 12-step programme - in a bid to beat his prescription drug addiction.
Mum Jan said: "I have known about Robbie's problems for some time and it has been very worrying. But from a mother's point of view, going into rehab is the best birthday gift he could have given himself."
Robbie's mum - herself a drug counsellor - added: "I shall be giving him loads and loads of love as always. I shall be going across at some stage."
The star has constantly battled with his demons, entering rehab for addiction to drink and drugs after splitting from boyband Take That.
His career has been a huge success - he's won several Brits and claimed the title of best-selling act of the 21st century as well as racking up an estimated £100 million fortune.
But, since parting with co-songwriter Guy Chambers, the singer's musical reputation has taken a battering and his profile has slipped while Take That have reformed to huge success, securing number ones in both the album and singles chart.

Robbie admitted into rehab
February 13, 2007
ROBBIE Williams has been admitted into rehab for treatment for his dependency on prescription drugs, his spokeswoman said today.
The former Take That star, who is 33 today, has entered a clinic in the US.
His spokeswoman Bryony Watts said: “Robbie Williams has today been admitted into a treatment centre in America for his dependency on prescription drugs.
“There will be no further comment on this matter.”
This is not the first time the star, who now lives in LA, has battled with his demons.
After he left Take That, he entered rehab for addiction to drink and drugs.
Model Lisa D'Amato recently revealed Robbie was taking antidepressants and was plagued with worries about his image.
She said: "It was clear he was struggling with his mind. He doesn’t drink, but he needs antidepressants to get him through the day. A lot of the time he seemed on edge."
Robbie received mixed reviews for his latest album Rudebox and only one Brit nomination.
He recently cancelled the Asia leg of his Close Encounters world tour, citing stress and exhaustion as the reason.

Take That want Robbie Williams
Take That haven't given up hope, that Robbie Williams will rejoin them, reports Entertainmentwise.com.
Although Mark Owen (35), Gary Barlow (36), Howard Donald (38) und Jason Orange (36) had a tremendous tour comeback last year minus Robbie Williams and both their single "Patience" and their album "Beautiful World" were number 1 hits in the UK, while Robbie's Rudebox flopped.
But Singer Mark Owen says: "Rob said he'd have done it if he wasn't touring and making a record himself. The timing just never worked out. We all still think that maybe one day it'll happen. For us anyway, that’d be the icing on the cake"
