Posh nosh doesn't always hit the spot like gut-busting fast food, as Robbie Williams proved when he felt a bit peckish in gay Paris recently.

He had the chance of tucking into some fine fare at the five-star George V hotel.

But the Robster was having none of it.

Rather than savouring the services of the Michelin-starred chef Philippe Legendre, Robbie opted for a McDonald's instead.

Robbie was staying at the £3,000-a-night hotel ahead of his concert in the French capital.

And who can blame him for his calorific cravings?

He needed the energy for his stage show.
